Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine Lay View
Since 2013, I have had the honour and privilege of serving as a Lay Adviser to the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine, an intercollegiate of the Royal College of Physicians (London) and the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
As a Lay Adviser, I use my experiences of obesity and inactivity to support the Faculty’s strategic mission to promote better health for the public through sport and exercise and to share my insight and views on physical inactivity, obesity and social inclusion via the Lay View.
